Spent the night in the only motel in Coal River. Got up the next morning and headed for Dawson Creek, which was a ways away, but just had to stop at the fabled Laird Hot Springs....and feed the mosquitoes. It's about a 10 minute hike back here, and they do have changing rooms sponsored by said mosquitoes. They wouldn't bother you once you were in, but everything in between, you are fair game. Once I got out, I didn't even bother drying off. I climbed on the bike and headed on down the road looking for an open space where the wind was blowing. Found just such a place at a pull off on a pass. Stayed there for an hour air drying myself.
